Step 1: Warming up.

Teacher and students sing the song

An apple a day keeps doctor away

Step 2:Presentation.

T: look,what is this ?

Ss: It is tree.

T: yes, look ,what is it ?

Ss: It is an apple .

(教师把准备好的一些苹果卡片拿出来,让学生数一数有多少个)

One two three …(数完之后把苹果卡片贴在树上,一些贴低点、一些贴高点)

T:look, what is it now?

Ss: It is an apple tree.

T: yes ,you are clever.

Let’s pick apples

(教师做一个pick apples的动作,带读单词Picking apples,教师加快摘苹果的动作,并说quick 、quick 、quick,带读单词quick)

板书rhyme的第一段:

Picking apples, picking apples,

Quick! Quick! Quick! (听录音,跟读)

(教师请一个同学上台来摘最高处的.苹果,由此引出climbing higher, climbing higher,)

板书rhyme的第二段:

climbing higher, climbing higher,

Pick! Pick! Pick! (听录音,跟读)

Step 3:Play a game(教师出示一些水果卡片,请学生说一说,然后把卡片贴在树上,请学生听指令做动作)

T: pick the banana,please.

Pick the orange, please.

Pick the peach,please.

……

(把学生分成两组,进行摘水果比赛)

Step 4:sing a song

Picking apples(边唱边做动作)
